Create a Safe Zone Where No Hostile Mobs Spawn

Set Up a Biome-Based Safe Zone

You can designate entire biomes as mob-free areas by adding spawn rules to the configuration file.

1. Open the mod's configuration file in your text editor

2. Locate the rules section where you can define custom spawn conditions

3. Add a rule that targets your chosen biome by name (for example, plains or forest)

4. Set the rule to prevent hostile mobs from spawning in that biome

5. Save the file and reload your world

Combine Multiple Conditions

For more precise control, you can layer conditions together:

  • Specify both a biome AND a light level requirement
  • Exclude specific mob types while allowing others
  • Use dimension-based rules to keep the Nether or End dangerous while protecting the Overworld

This approach is useful for creating peaceful farming areas, villages, or bases where you can work without constant threat. You can create multiple safe zones across different biomes, each with their own ruleset.
