Collect Resin and Maple Syrup from Trees
Setting Up Your Tap System
To harvest liquids from trees, you'll need to craft a Tap item first. Once crafted, locate a tree in your world—any tree works, but different tree types may yield different liquids.
Harvesting Process
1. Attach the Tap: Place the Tap directly onto the side of a tree log. The Tap will stick to the log surface.
2. Position a Cauldron: Place an empty cauldron on the ground directly below the Tap. Make sure there's a clear vertical line between them.
3. Maple trees produce sweet Maple Syrup, while other trees yield sticky Resin.
4. Collect Your Reward: Once the cauldron is full, remove it and use the liquid for crafting, cooking, or other purposes.
Tips
- You can set up multiple Tap stations around your base to collect liquids passively.
- Different biomes may have different tree types available, so explore to find variety.
- Leave your Taps in place—they'll continue working as long as the cauldron below is empty and ready to fill.
