Locating the Hive

When a tumor finishes corrupting the land above it, a massive underground hive generates beneath. Explore underground in corrupted areas to find these dark structures. Inside, you'll discover Heartlens and special cores—these are your targets.

Preparing for Battle

Gather combat supplies and armor before entering a hive. The underground is filled with dangerous enemies that will attack on sight. Bring healing items and weapons strong enough to handle multiple threats.

Summoning the Boss

Locate a Hive Root deep within the structure. Use a Nexium Heart on the root to summon the Torment Root mini-boss. This creature is significantly more dangerous than standard hive enemies, so maintain distance and use hit-and-run tactics.

Claiming Your Reward

When defeated, the Torment Root drops the Nexium Tentacle. This tool allows you to instantly break infected blocks, making it invaluable for both exploration and base defense. Store it safely—you'll use it frequently.
