Understanding Vault Mechanics

Vaults are special loot containers found throughout Trial Chambers. Unlike regular chests, vaults require a key to open. Keys are dropped by mobs spawned from Trial Spawners, so you must defeat enemies to obtain them.

Obtaining Keys

Fight mobs in the chamber until they drop keys. Each key is tagged with a specific vault tag that matches particular vaults. A key with vault tag "example" will only open vaults configured with the same tag. Collect multiple keys as you progress through the chamber.

Opening Vaults

Approach a vault chest and use the key in your inventory to unlock it. The vault will open and reveal its loot table contents. Different vaults contain different rewards based on their configuration—some may hold rare items, enchanted gear, or valuable resources.

Strategic Looting

Prioritize vaults near boss spawners, as these typically contain superior loot. Explore all accessible vault locations in a chamber before leaving to maximize your rewards from the expedition.
