Set Up and Configure a Sentry Turret Network
Placing Your First Turret
Place a Sentry Turret on a solid block where it has a clear line of sight to areas you want defended. Each turret needs power from a Cyborg Keeper to operate. Position keepers nearby or link them through your base layout.
Using the
KeePad
Craft or obtain a handheld KeePad device. Use it to:
- Assign turrets to target groups
- Define firing sectors (angles and ranges the turret covers)
- Switch between Single Fire and Burst Fire modes
- Configure which mob types each turret attacks
Optimizing Your Defense
You can place up to 12 sentry units per player. Arrange them to cover:
- Entrance points and perimeter walls
- Vulnerable resource areas
- Spawning platforms or mob farms
Use the KeePad to stagger firing modes—some turrets in single fire for steady coverage, others in burst fire for high-threat situations. Test your setup by spawning hostile mobs nearby to verify coverage gaps.
