Perform Water Divination

Your Nen type is permanent, so choose wisely. Craft a Water Divination item using a water bucket and a leaf at any crafting table. Use the item near water to reveal which of the six Nen types matches your aura: Enhancer, Emitter, Transmuter, Manipulator, Conjurer, or Specialist.

Begin Basic Training

Once your type is confirmed, you'll unlock basic Nen techniques automatically as you level up. Every five levels, a new technique becomes available—starting with Ten at level 1. These foundational skills form the basis for all your combat abilities.

Press G to toggle combat mode and access your aura hotbar. This is where you'll equip and use techniques during fights. Your six core stats (aura pool, nen power, strength, and others) grow with each level gain, so focus on combat and exploration to progress faster.

Plan Your Path

Different types excel at different roles: Enhancers dominate melee, Emitters rain projectiles, Transmuters dash and strike with elements, Manipulators control the battlefield, Conjurers summon weapons, and Specialists trade permanent stats for unique powers. Consider your playstyle before committing.
