Finding Trimmed Gear in Structure Chests and Bartering
Where Trimmed Loot Appears
Naturally Trimmed Mod hooks into loot generation, so any chest that can contain armor or tools has a chance to roll a trimmed version instead. This covers structure chests (dungeons, temples, strongholds, and similar), villager trades, and piglin bartering output.
Steps to Farm Trimmed Loot
1. Pick loot sources that already generate armor frequently. Structure chests with armor in their loot tables are the most efficient.
2. Run the structure or trade repeatedly. Because the trim is applied at loot-roll time, each new chest or trade is a fresh chance.
3. For villager trades, level up armorer and weaponsmith villagers and check their offers. A trimmed piece can appear as a trade result.
4. For bartering, trade gold ingots with piglins and inspect every armor or tool you receive.
Practical Tips
- Bring an Ender Chest or shulker boxes so you can haul multiple trimmed pieces home without dropping loot.
- Do not assume every chest is trimmed; the mod adds a chance, not a guarantee. Expect most loot to be plain.
- If you only care about a specific trim, combine this with mob farming and trading to widen your odds across several sources at once.
