How to Get Your First Quirk

Receiving Your Starting Quirk

When you first join a world with My Hero Craft installed, you have a chance to receive a special technique automatically. This is your starting quirk—a unique ability that defines your playstyle.

If You Don't Receive One Immediately

If you don't get a quirk on initial spawn, continue playing and defeating enemies. Quirks can be obtained through combat progression as you level up your character by defeating villains across the map.

Viewing Your Quirk Details

Once you have a quirk:

1. Press N to open your Quirk Notebook

2. Browse the notebook to read detailed information about your ability, including how to use it effectively

3. Close the notebook and return to gameplay

Using Your Quirk

To activate your quirk in combat:

1. Press H to enter Hero Mode

2. Hold R and scroll your mouse wheel to cycle through available techniques

3. Left-click to use your selected quirk

4. Press G while in Hero Mode to trigger special attack techniques

Your quirk will grow stronger as you gain experience defeating enemies and mastering combat.
