Why Mutant Brutes Are Extreme Threats

Mutant Brutes are the apex undead in this mod—significantly larger, tougher, and more dangerous than their Zombie Brute counterparts. Casual combat is suicide; only prepared players should engage.

Survival Strategy

Flee first: Your initial response should be escape, not combat. Mutant Brutes are rare and dangerous enough that avoidance is the smart choice. Run toward your base or well-lit areas.

Never solo: If you must fight, gather allies and supplies first. This is not a solo encounter.

Prepare extensively: Stock healing items, bring your best weapons with enchantments, and wear maximum protection armor. Bring ranged weapons as your primary tool.

Use environmental advantages: Fight in terrain that restricts the Brute's movement—narrow canyons, forests with dense trees, or water. Never fight in open plains.

Knockback is critical: Weapons with strong knockback are your lifeline. They prevent the Brute from closing distance and dealing its devastating melee damage.

Coordinate attacks: With teammates, focus fire while rotating who has aggro. Never let it focus on one player too long.

Know when to retreat: If the fight turns against you, leave immediately. Mutant Brutes respawn; your character doesn't.

Respect this enemy—it's designed to be dangerous.
