Create Your First Custom Machine
Getting Started with the Editor
Craft or obtain the Multiblocked2 editor book and place it in the world. Right-click it to open the visual editor interface. This is your workspace for designing custom machines.
Building Your Machine Structure
In the editor, you'll define the physical shape of your multiblock by placing virtual blocks in a 3D grid. Each block position can be assigned a specific role:
- Controller block: The main block players interact with
- Casing blocks: Structural blocks that form the machine's exterior
- Input/Output ports: Where items and fluids enter or exit
- Internal components: Blocks that process materials
Use the visual grid to arrange these parts. You can rotate and preview your design before finalizing it. Once satisfied with the structure, save your machine configuration. The editor will generate a machine that appears naturally in your world when the multiblock is assembled correctly by players.
