Understanding Button Indicators

When you hold items, aim, or interact with blocks, the mod displays on-screen prompts showing which controller buttons perform actions. These indicators appear near your crosshair or in the corner of the screen, similar to Bedrock Edition.

Common Prompts You'll See

• Attack/Mine: Shows which button breaks blocks or hits enemies
• Place/Interact: Displays the button to place blocks or open containers
• Use Item: Indicates the button for bows, food, or other held items
• Sneak: Shows your crouch button for precise placement
• Swap Hands: Prompts appear when you can switch between main and off-hand items

Customize Prompt Display

If prompts feel distracting or hard to read, check the mod's config file for display options. You can typically:

• Adjust prompt opacity or size
• Change their screen position
• Toggle them on or off entirely

The prompts update instantly as you switch items or enter different situations, so you always know the correct button without memorizing your entire control scheme.
