Manage Your Inventory with a Controller

Open Inventory

Press the button you've mapped for inventory access (typically a shoulder button like LB or L1). Your inventory screen will appear with on-screen button prompts showing which controller buttons perform each action.

Navigate and Move Items

Use your right stick or D-pad to highlight items in your inventory grid. Press the mapped select/grab button to pick up an item. Move to a new slot and press again to place it down. You can also:

• Hold and drag items between slots
• Quick-move stacks to specific containers using the mapped quick-move button
• Drop items using the mapped drop button

Equip and Organize

Highlight armor or tools and press the equip button to automatically place them in the correct slots. For the hotbar, navigate to it and select items you want quick access to during gameplay.

The on-screen indicators update dynamically, so you always know which button does what. Close inventory by pressing your mapped inventory button again or the mapped back/cancel button.
