Adjust Controller Sensitivity and Deadzone Settings

Access Controller Options

Go to Options > Controls > Controller to find all sensitivity and response settings. These options let you fine-tune how your controller feels during gameplay.

Configure Stick Sensitivity

Adjust the look sensitivity slider to control how quickly your camera responds to right stick input. Lower values make aiming more precise; higher values let you turn faster. You can set separate values for horizontal and vertical sensitivity if your mod version supports it.

Set Deadzone Values

Deadzone determines how far you must move a stick before the game registers input. If your sticks drift slightly or feel too sensitive near center:

  • Increase the deadzone threshold to ignore minor stick movement
  • Decrease it if you need more responsive, precise control

Test and Refine

Enter a world and test your changes in real gameplay. Small adjustments make a big difference—try changing sensitivity by small increments rather than large jumps. Save your preferred settings; they'll persist across sessions.
