Exploring Multiple Ruins in One Trip

Finding Nearby Structures

Moss Ruins are common in Birch Forests, meaning multiple structures often exist within reasonable travel distance. After locating your first ruin with /locate moss_ruins:moss_ruins, explore the surrounding area on foot or horseback.

Systematic Exploration

1. Travel outward from your first ruin in different directions

2. Stay in the Birch Forest biome — structures only spawn here

3. Mark locations using signs, torches, or waypoints as you discover new ruins

4. Collect loot from each chest you find

Building a Route

Once you've found several ruins, you can create a supply run route. Visit multiple ruins in sequence to gather resources efficiently. This is especially useful in Ruined Cities, where you might find enough loot to stock an entire base without mining. Keep a mental or written map of which ruins you've already looted to avoid wasting time.
