Enable and Configure Double Ore Drops

Understanding Double Drops

Double drops allow certain ores to have a chance to drop an extra resource when mined with Hammers or Excavators. This is controlled by two config sections: which ores are eligible, and the chance percentage for each.

Configuring Double Drops

Open your mod config file and locate the [features.doubleDropBool] section. Set each ore to true to enable drops:

  • Diamond, Coal, Quartz, Lapis, Emerald, and Redstone are all configurable

Next, navigate to [chances.doubleDropValue] to adjust drop rates. Values range from 0–1000, where each point equals 0.1%. For example:

  • Diamond is set to 1 (0.1% chance) by default — very rare
  • Coal, Quartz, Lapis, and Redstone are set to 500 (50% chance) — common
  • Emerald is set to 1 (0.1% chance) — very rare

Increase these numbers to make drops more frequent, or decrease them for rarity. Remember that Hammers and Excavators have a durability multiplier of 7, making them ideal for farming these bonus drops over time.
