Set Up a New Villager Profession Using Mod Workstations

Finding and Placing Workstations

The mod introduces new workstations beyond the vanilla options. First, craft or locate the workstation block for the profession you want to assign. Each profession has a unique workstation—for example, different blocks correspond to different job roles.

Place the workstation in your village or trading area. Unemployed villagers nearby will detect it and may claim the profession associated with that workstation.

Assigning Villagers to Professions

Once a workstation is placed, unemployed villagers (those without a profession) will pathfind toward it. A villager who reaches the workstation will adopt that profession. You can speed this up by:

• Removing competing workstations so villagers aren't confused
• Placing the workstation in an accessible, well-lit area
• Waiting for the villager to interact with the block (you'll see particles or animation)

After assignment, the villager will use that workstation as their job site and unlock their unique trade offers. You can now begin trading with them to access profession-specific goods.
