How to Obtain and Use Elytra Wings

Crafting Material-Specific Wings

This mod lets you craft standalone elytra wings from multiple materials: Iron, Gold, Diamond, and Netherite. These are separate items from traditional elytra, giving you more flight options and fitting your current gear tier.

Equipping Your Wings

Craft or obtain the elytra wings matching your current gear level. Place them in your chestplate slot (or appropriate equipment slot) to enable flight. Unlike vanilla elytra, these integrate with the mod's material progression system.

Combining Wings with Armor (ATS Addon)

If you have the MUT: ATS addon installed, you can combine your chestplate armor with elytra wings. This allows you to wear protective chest armor while maintaining flight capability—essential for aerial combat. Use the Smithing Table with the appropriate template and materials to merge these items.

Durability and Repair

Material-specific wings inherit durability properties from their tier. Repair them at a Smithing Table using the same material ingots, or use Mending enchantments for automatic durability restoration.
