How Hammer and Excavator Work

The Hammer and Excavator break blocks in a 3×3 pattern, letting you clear terrain faster than standard tools. This is useful for mining operations and large excavation projects.

The Saw destroys entire trees in a single action, though it cannot fell very large trees. This speeds up wood gathering significantly.

The Vein Hammer breaks all connected ore blocks of the same type at once, eliminating the need to mine each ore individually.

Preserving Vanilla Behavior

If you need to break a single block instead of an area, sneak (hold Shift) while using any of these tools. This reverts them to normal single-block breaking, giving you full control over your mining.
