Opening the In-Game Menu, Resetting, and Uninstalling the Data Pack

The data pack ships with a small in-game control menu so you can manage it without editing files by hand. It is triggered through a scoreboard trigger or a function tag.

Opening the menu

Run either of these:

  • /trigger tschipcraft.menu
  • /function #tschipcraft:menu

Both open the same menu interface. The # form is a function tag, so it will keep working even if the internal function names change between updates — prefer it if you are putting the command on a button or in a command block.

What the buttons do

  • Reset returns the data pack's tracked state to defaults. Use this if spawns, counters, or menu behaviour start acting strangely after you have been testing a lot of mobs.
  • Uninstall removes the data pack's additions from your world cleanly. Run this *before* deleting the data pack from your world's data pack list, so leftover entities, tags, and scoreboard objectives are cleared out properly.

Practical tips

Put the menu command on a button near your testing area so you can reset quickly between experiments. If you plan to remove the pack permanently, uninstall first, then remove it from the world, then reload. That order avoids orphaned mobs and stray objectives lingering in your save.
