How to Spawn Any More Mobs Variant (and Find Its Exact Name)
The fastest way to get a specific mob from this data pack into your world is the spawn function. Every variant is registered under the mobvariants function namespace, so you call it directly from chat.
Spawning a variant
1. Enable cheats (or be a server operator) so you can run functions.
2. Type /function mobvariants:spawn/ and then the mob's name, for example a speedier zombie or an endermite queen. The name is the variant's internal ID, not a display name, so spelling matters.
3. Press Tab after the colon. Minecraft autocompletes the available function paths, which is the most reliable way to discover the exact name of a variant you saw in a screenshot.
4. Run the command. The mob spawns at your position or at your crosshair, depending on the variant.
If you don't know the name
Use /function mobvariants:spawnbook to get a book. Open it and click the entries — each one runs the correct spawn function for you, so you never have to guess an ID. This is also the best way to browse the full roster of 90+ variants before deciding what to build an arena around.
If a command errors out, you almost certainly mistyped the path. Re-run it and let autocomplete finish the name for you.
