Locating Gates

Oblivion Gates spawn naturally in your world as large, glowing red structures. They appear in various biomes, often in darker or more dangerous areas. Explore forests, mountains, and wastelands at night to increase your chances of finding one. Gates may be active (fully functional) or broken (damaged but still usable).

Entering the Deadlands

Approach the gate and walk through the glowing red portal. You'll be transported to the Deadlands dimension—a hostile fiery realm filled with lava, dark terrain, and dangerous mobs like Dremoras and Scamps.

Returning Home

To exit safely, you must close the Oblivion Gate from inside the Deadlands. Look for the gate's control mechanism or altar within the dimension. Interact with it to seal the gate. This will teleport you back to the exact same gate location in the overworld.

Preparation

Bring strong armor, weapons, and healing items before entering. The Deadlands are extremely dangerous, and mobs deal heavy damage. Consider bringing fire resistance potions if available, as lava is abundant in this dimension.
