The mod adds crafting tables for every wood variety in Minecraft, so you can coordinate your crafting station with your building materials. If you're building with dark oak, use a dark oak crafting table. For Nether builds, use Crimson or Warped crafting tables.

Consider Practical Properties

Most wooden crafting tables function identically in terms of crafting recipes—the only difference is appearance. However, Nether wood crafting tables (Crimson and Warped) have a unique advantage: they are completely immune to fire and lava damage. This makes them essential for Nether bases, Nether portals, or any fire-adjacent builds where you don't want your crafting station destroyed.

Plan for Fuel Needs

If you're building in the Overworld or End, remember that standard crafting tables can be used as furnace fuel if you need to burn them later. Nether wood tables cannot be used this way, but their fire resistance makes them more valuable for dangerous environments anyway.
