Make Glowing Pressure Plates

Understand Light-Emitting Blocks

This mod has a special feature: light-emitting blocks like Glowstone and Sea Lantern can be combined with the Pressure Plate Frame to create pressure plates that emit light. These are useful for creating illuminated pathways or decorative floor elements.

Gather Light-Emitting Materials

Collect any light-emitting block. Common choices include Glowstone (found in the Nether), Sea Lantern (found underwater in ocean ruins), Shroomlight (found in the Nether), or Amethyst Blocks. The mod supports most blocks that naturally emit light.

Craft the Glowing Pressure Plate

Place your Pressure Plate Frame in the crafting grid with your chosen light-emitting block. The resulting pressure plate will retain the light emission of the original block.

Place and Use

Install your glowing pressure plate anywhere you want ambient lighting combined with redstone functionality. These work especially well in underground builds, pathways, or decorative floors where you want both aesthetics and activation mechanics.
