Troubleshoot Doors That Won't Craft or Open

Verify You Have Door Frames

Make sure you're using actual Door Frame items from the mod, not regular doors or other items. Check your inventory carefully and consult the crafting recipe if unsure.

Confirm Block Compatibility

Most blocks work with the mod, but some may not be supported. Try crafting with common blocks first (stone, dirt, wood) to confirm the mechanic works. If those succeed but a specific block fails, that block may not be compatible.

Check Door Placement

Decorative doors must be placed in a valid doorway—a two-block-high opening. If placement fails, ensure the space is tall enough and that there are solid blocks on either side.

Test Door Mechanics

Once placed, right-click to open and close the door. If it won't respond, check that you're not in creative mode restrictions or that the door wasn't placed incorrectly. Doors should open like vanilla doors.

Verify Mod is Active

If crafting recipes don't appear at all, ensure the mod is properly installed and enabled in your mod loader.
