Increase Banner Layer Limit with Banner Threads

Understanding Layer Limits

Banners normally have a maximum number of pattern layers you can apply. Once you reach this limit, you cannot add more designs. Banner Threads items allow you to expand this capacity.

Combining Threads with Banners

Obtain Banner Threads (check your mod's crafting recipes or creative inventory). In a crafting table or your inventory grid, combine a Banner Threads item with your banner. This increases the maximum layer limit, allowing you to add more patterns and designs.

Stacking Threads

You can combine multiple Banner Threads with a single banner to increase the limit further. Each combination adds additional layers, letting you create highly detailed, multi-patterned banners with complex designs that would normally be impossible.
