Equip a Banner as a Hat or Cape on Your Player

Using the Cape Slot

If you have the Trinkets mod installed, you can equip banners as capes through the dedicated cape slot. Open your inventory, locate the cape slot (usually on the right side), and place your banner there. This is the simplest method and doesn't conflict with your armor.

Combining with Armor

Without Trinkets, combine your banner with a helmet or chestplate using a crafting table or your inventory crafting grid. This lets you wear both pieces simultaneously—the banner displays as a hat or cape overlay while keeping your armor protection. You can also use slot mods for additional customization options.

Removing Your Banner

To remove a banner from your player, simply take it out of the cape slot or separate it from your armor piece by crafting them apart. The banner will return to your inventory undamaged and ready to reuse.
