How to Make the Modern Crosshair Bigger or Smaller
Crosshair size in a resource pack is controlled by the texture's pixel dimensions and how Minecraft scales the GUI, not by a slider inside the pack. You have two levers: edit the image, or change your GUI scale.
Resize the Texture
Open the pack and go to the crosshair PNG as described for recoloring. To make the crosshair larger, scale the image up while keeping it pixel-perfect (nearest-neighbor, no smoothing) so it stays crisp. To shrink it, scale down by an even factor. Keep the image square and centered so the crosshair stays aligned with your aim point. Save and replace the original, then reload resources.
Use GUI Scale Instead
If you only want a subtle change, leave the texture alone and adjust the GUI Scale option in video settings. A higher GUI scale enlarges the crosshair along with the rest of your HUD; a lower scale shrinks it. This is the quickest way to test whether a size feels right before committing to a texture edit.
Watch For
Non-square or off-center images will make the crosshair look lopsided. Extremely large textures can overlap nearby HUD elements, so preview in-game before keeping the change.
