Understand Breeding Basics

Breeding combines two different chicken types to create offspring with new traits. Place a Breeder block in your farm and insert two different birds inside—they must be distinct types to produce results.

Select Your Breeding Pairs

Use the Analyzer to examine each bird's resource type and stats. Pair birds strategically: breeding a wood chicken with a stone chicken might yield a higher-tier ore chicken. Experiment with different combinations to discover new species.

Collect Breeding Results

The Breeder will produce eggs containing the offspring. Collect these eggs and hatch them in Roosts or Incubators. Check the results with your Analyzer—you may unlock entirely new resource types unavailable from wild birds.

Document Your Discoveries

Use the command /chickens export breeding to save a list of all successful breeding combinations you've discovered. This helps you plan future crosses and remember which pairs produce valuable results.

Scale Up Production

Once you've unlocked high-tier chickens, breed multiple pairs simultaneously using multiple Breeders to accelerate your resource generation.
