Fixing the Armour Bar Not Showing or Looking Wrong

Check Pack Priority First

The most common cause of a broken or unchanged armor bar is pack order. Open Options → Resource Packs and look at your "Selected" list. Any pack sitting above Modern Armour Bar that also touches HUD or armor textures will win the conflict. Drag Modern Armour Bar to the top of the list and click Done. This alone fixes most visual glitches.

Rule Out Version Mismatches

Resource packs are tied to texture formats, not just game versions. If the pack was built for a different format than your game uses, the armor icons may appear as missing-texture purple squares or revert to vanilla. Check the pack's listed pack format against your Minecraft version. If they do not match, either update the pack or use a build made for your version.

Verify the Bar Is Actually Enabled

The armor bar only appears when you have armor equipped and are in a survival-style HUD. In Creative mode the bar is hidden by design. Put on at least one armor piece in Survival and confirm the bar returns. If it still looks wrong, disable every other resource pack temporarily to isolate whether Modern Armour Bar is the culprit or a conflicting pack is.
