Auto-Unload Your Backpack into Containers

Position Your Container

Place a chest, barrel, or other storage container where you want to unload items. You can mark it with an item frame or sign to make it easily identifiable.

Perform the Auto-Unload

1. Stand in front of the container

2. Hold your backpack in your hand

3. Sneak (hold Shift by default) and right-click on the container

4. Your backpack contents will automatically transfer into the container

Tips for Organization

Use multiple labeled containers—one for ores, one for building blocks, one for tools—and unload into the appropriate chest each time. This keeps your base organized and frees up backpack space quickly. The auto-unload feature is especially useful after mining sessions when your backpack is full.
