Capture Hostile Mobs Safely

Understanding the Hostile Lasso

The hostile lasso lets you capture dangerous mobs like creepers, skeletons, and zombies. However, there's a significant catch: the mob must be below 50% health before you can capture it.

Weakening the Mob

1. Damage the hostile mob using weapons, magic, or environmental hazards until its health drops below half

2. Watch for the health indicator to confirm it's low enough

3. Right-click with the hostile lasso while the mob is weakened

Handling Captured Hostiles

Be warned: captured hostile mobs will continuously bite and damage you while you carry the lasso. The damage persists even while the lasso is in your inventory, so plan your route carefully and move quickly.

Safe Storage

Consider wearing armor or using healing items during transport. Once you reach your destination, release the mob immediately to stop taking damage.
