Crafting Your First Lasso

Before you can capture mobs, you need to craft a lasso. The golden lasso is your starting point for land animals like cows, sheep, and pigs. Gather the required crafting materials and create one at a crafting table.

Catching and Carrying Mobs

Once you have a lasso:

1. Approach the mob you want to capture

2. Right-click on it with the lasso in your hand

3. The mob will be captured and stored in your inventory

4. You can now carry it anywhere

Important: Watch the Timer

Most lassos have a time limit before the mob escapes. The captured mob won't disappear from your inventory, but it will break free if you don't act quickly. Plan your transport route in advance so you can release the mob at your destination before time runs out.

Releasing Your Mob

When you reach your destination, right-click with the lasso again to release the mob. It will appear where you're standing.
