How to Transform Horses into Magical Mounts

Breeding and Preparing Your Horse

Start by taming wild horses using a Medallion or their preferred food. Once tamed, breed two horses together by feeding them pumpkins, mushroom stew, cake, or golden carrots while keeping them isolated from other horses. Baby foals will spawn and grow into adults.

Applying Essences for Transformation

The mod includes special Essences that transform tamed horses into magical variants like Unicorns, Pegasuses, and Nightmares. Craft or find these Essences, then use them on your tamed horse by right-clicking while holding the Essence.

Each Essence produces a different magical horse type with unique abilities—Pegasuses can fly, Unicorns have special powers, and Nightmares are faster and more intimidating.

Storing Magical Horses

Rare magical horses are valuable and vulnerable to death. Craft Horse Amulets to safely store your transformed mounts in your inventory. Right-click a magical horse with an Amulet to capture it, then right-click the Amulet in your hand to release it later. This prevents loss to accidents or hostile mobs.
