How to Change Which Dimension an Ore Spawns In
By default an ore entry only applies to the dimension listed in its parent object. To move an ore to a different dimension, you relocate its object into the correct dimension block instead of editing the ore's own fields.
Find the right dimension block
Open the JSON file in orespawn that contains the ore you want to move. Each top-level object has a dimension value. The Overworld is 0, the Nether is -1, and the End is 1. Locate the object whose dimension matches where the ore currently spawns.
Move the ore object
Cut the entire ore object (the { ... } containing block, size, variation, frequency, min_height, and max_height) out of that dimension's ores array. Paste it into the ores array of the object with the dimension you actually want. If no object exists for that dimension yet, add a new one with a dimension key and an empty ores array, then paste the ore inside.
Verify
Save the file and reload. The ore should now generate only in the new dimension. Remember that height limits are dimension-specific — a max_height that works in the Overworld may be meaningless in a dimension with a different build height, so adjust the range to suit the target dimension.
