Accessing Configuration Files

Modern Mayhem's items are fully configurable. Access the mod's configuration files through your Minecraft config folder. Look for files related to armor protection values, backpack capacity, and equipment variants.

Adjusting Armor Protection

Modify armor stat values to change how much damage each piece reduces. Increase values for a more forgiving survival experience, or decrease them to make combat more challenging. Different armor variants can have different protection levels if desired.

Customizing Backpack Capacity

Adjust the number of inventory slots each backpack variant provides. This lets you create specialized backpacks—heavy-duty versions with maximum storage, or lightweight variants with minimal capacity for speed-focused gameplay.

Fine-Tuning Other Equipment

Night vision goggles, thermal imagers, and other gear can be customized for performance and balance. Adjust visual quality, thermal detection range, or equipment durability based on your preferences.

Applying Changes

After modifying configuration files, restart your game for changes to take effect. Test your adjustments in-game to ensure they match your desired playstyle. Keep backups of original config files if you want to revert changes easily.
