How to Report a Mixin Conflict to the Right Mod Using the Built-in Buttons
Why the report button matters
A mixin conflict report is only useful if it reaches the mod author who can actually fix it. Mixin Conflict Helper includes buttons that open the issue page of the mod it believes is responsible. This saves you from guessing which of your dozens of mods owns the broken mixin.
Steps to file a useful report
1. On the conflict GUI, read which mod the report button is linked to. Confirm it matches the mixin name you see.
2. Click the report button. Your browser opens that mod's issue tracker.
3. Before submitting, gather the full crash log from your logs or crash-reports folder. The GUI only shows a summary; authors need the complete stack trace.
4. In your report, state the two mods involved, the target class and method, and the exact Minecraft and mod loader versions you run.
5. Paste the log as an attachment or in a pastebin link rather than inline, and describe what you were doing when the crash happened.
6. If the conflict is clearly between two mods, also notify the second mod's author, since either side may be able to adjust its injection point.
What not to do
Do not report to the wrong mod just because its name appears first alphabetically. Verify the mixin package matches the mod you are contacting, otherwise your report will be closed as invalid.
