How to Read the Mixin Conflict Helper Crash Screen and Identify the Culprit Mod

What the screen is telling you

When two mods try to modify the same method or inject into the same spot, the game normally crashes with a wall of stack trace text. Mixin Conflict Helper intercepts that exception first and shows a readable GUI instead. The top of the screen names the mixin that failed to apply, and the surrounding text points at the target class and method it was trying to patch. Read this carefully: the mixin that *failed* is not always the one at fault. Often the first mod applied its change successfully, and the second one could not find the expected code because the first had already altered it.

Steps to pinpoint the responsible mod

1. Note the mixin class name shown in the GUI. It usually contains the mod ID or a recognizable package prefix.

2. Note the target class and method being injected into. This tells you *where* the collision happened.

3. Look at the list of loaded mods in your mod list and match the mixin name to a mod.

4. If two mods both touch the same target, the one listed as the failing injection is the one to update, remove, or reorder.

5. Use the report button on the GUI to open the correct issue tracker for that mod.

After you identify it

Write down both mod names before closing the screen, because interacting with the GUI lets the game crash as normal. You will need those names when you relaunch and decide which mod to disable.
