Getting Started with New Tool Tiers

Progression Beyond Iron

This mod adds intermediate tool tiers between iron and diamond, giving you new goals to work toward. Instead of jumping straight to diamond tools, you'll first craft Reinforced Gold or Coralite tools using newly added ores found underground.

Start your world normally, but prepare for iron to be harder to obtain early on. Mine for the four new ores scattered underground, then use them to craft your intermediate-tier tools before pursuing diamonds. Check your advancements tab regularly to track new crafting goals and see what materials you should prioritize next. This extended progression makes the early and mid-game feel fresh while giving you more steps to complete before reaching endgame gear.
