Set Up Your First Colony and Hire Citizens

Place Your Town Hall

Find a flat area with plenty of space around it. Place the Town Hall block—this is the heart of your colony and where all citizens will be managed. The Town Hall will claim the chunk it's in plus the eight surrounding chunks automatically.

Build a Builder's Hut

Once your Town Hall is placed, you need to construct a Builder's Hut nearby. The Builder's Hut is essential because builders are the workers who construct all other buildings in your colony.

Hire Your First Citizen

Open the Town Hall interface and assign a citizen to the Builder's Hut. You can also recruit new citizens by building a Tavern or waiting for them to naturally spawn in your colony.

Provide Tools and Resources

Give your builder basic tools like a wooden axe and pickaxe. Stock the Builder's Hut with building materials—wood, stone, dirt, and other blocks. Your builder will now start constructing new buildings from blueprints you assign.

Expand Your Colony

Build additional huts (Farmer's Hut, Miner's Hut, Guard Tower) and assign citizens to them. Each job type requires its own dedicated hut.
