Craft and Upgrade Gear to Siftite

Understanding Siftite

Siftite is an endgame upgrade material that enhances Netherite gear, the best equipment available before entering The Sift. Upgrading to Siftite provides increased mining speed and a crucial death-protection mechanic.

The Death Protection Mechanic

When you die while wearing Siftite armor or tools, your items don't scatter on the ground. Instead, they're temporarily stored in Mini Rifts that appear near your death location. This gives you time to recover your equipment without losing it to despawning or lava.

Obtaining Siftite Gear

1. Gather Siftite ore from The Sift dimension—it spawns in specific biomes and depths.

2. Smelt or process the ore into usable Siftite material.

3. Use an enchanting table with Siftite to upgrade your existing Netherite tools and armor.

Siftite gear is essential for surviving the dimension's hazards and exploring confidently. The mining speed boost also makes resource gathering significantly faster than with standard Netherite.
