Charge a Totem for the First Time

Gather Your Materials

Before you can revive anyone, your totem needs charge. Each totem type requires specific charging items—check your totem's tooltip or recipe book to see what it accepts. Gather a stack of the appropriate charging material.

Perform the Charging

1. Hold the charging item in your left hand and the totem in your right hand

2. Right-click while holding both items

3. The totem will begin to charge—you'll see visual feedback as the charge accumulates

4. Continue right-clicking until the totem reaches full charge

The number of charging items consumed depends on your mod's configuration, so don't be surprised if it takes more than one click. Keep charging until you see the totem is at maximum capacity.

Verify Your Charge

Once charged, the totem's appearance or tooltip should indicate it's ready to use. You can now proceed to select a resurrection target and prepare for emergencies in your Hardcore world.
