Upgrade Your Bundle to the Next Tier

Using the Smithing Table

Bundle upgrades work differently in Metal Bundles Mod—you don't need a smithing template. Simply place your current bundle and the material for the next tier into a smithing table.

Upgrade Path

Bundles progress through tiers: Leather → Copper → Iron → Gold → Diamond → Netherite. Each tier increases your storage capacity, allowing you to carry more items.

Steps

1. Open a smithing table

2. Place your current bundle in the left slot

3. Place the upgrade material (copper ingot, iron ingot, etc.) in the right slot

4. Collect your upgraded bundle from the output

Your bundle's contents transfer automatically to the new tier, so you won't lose anything during the upgrade. Higher-tier bundles hold significantly more items, making them essential as your adventures expand.
