Choosing Your Faction

Start by crafting a Team Tablet and opening it to select either the RED or BLU team. This choice determines which mercenaries you can hire and which faction you'll support in battles.

Once you've picked a side, explore your world to find mercenaries. You can hire them to join your cause or engage rival faction members in combat. Hired mercenaries will follow your orders—assign them to guard specific areas around your base or have them travel with you on adventures.

To make your mercenaries more effective, equip them with armor before sending them into battle. For advanced base defense, craft sentry turrets that automatically fire on hostile mobs, or build dispensers to restore your health and hunger during extended operations.
