Use Melon Golems for Base Defense

Setting Up Defensive Positions

Melon Golems automatically attack hostile mobs, making them excellent for protecting your base. They shoot melon seeds at enemies from a distance, dealing damage over time.

Deployment Strategy

1. Summon golems near key entry points to your base—doorways, windows, or perimeter walls

2. Place them on elevated positions when possible, as this gives them better sightlines

3. Summon multiple golems to cover different areas

4. Keep them away from water sources and fire, as these will damage them

Maintenance

Monitor your golems' health during raids or heavy mob activity. If a golem is defeated, you'll need to gather melon blocks and sticks to summon a replacement. Consider keeping spare materials stored nearby for quick respawning.

Limitations

Melon Golems only attack hostile mobs—they won't harm passive animals or other players. They have limited health, so they work best as supplementary defense rather than your only protection.
