Summon Your First Melon Golem

Gathering Materials

You'll need three melon blocks, which can be harvested from fully-grown melon plants in the world or crafted. You'll also need two sticks—one for each hand.

Summoning the Golem

1. Stack the three melon blocks vertically in a single column

2. Hold a stick in each hand (one in your main hand, one in your off-hand)

3. Look at the center melon block (the middle one of the three)

4. Right-click on it

The Melon Golem will instantly spawn at that location. It will begin patrolling the area and attacking hostile mobs automatically. Your new ally has 10 health points, similar to a Snow Golem, so keep it away from fire and lava.

Tips

The Melon Golem doesn't require any maintenance or feeding—it will continue defending you indefinitely once summoned. You can summon multiple golems if you have enough melon blocks and sticks. If your golem is defeated, simply gather more materials and summon another one.
