Check if Melody Mod is installed correctly

Why you might have Melody Mod

Melody Mod is a library mod—it does nothing on its own. You have it installed because another mod you're using requires it to play background music. If Melody Mod is missing or broken, that other mod may fail to load or lose its music features.

How to verify it's working

1. Launch Minecraft with all your mods loaded

2. If the game starts without crashing, Melody Mod is installed

3. Load a world and play normally—you won't see any new blocks, items, or menus from Melody Mod itself

4. Listen for background music from mods that depend on Melody Mod (check that mod's documentation to know what music to expect)

5. If music plays smoothly without stuttering or errors in the log, Melody Mod is functioning correctly

If something seems wrong

Check your game log for errors mentioning Melody Mod. If the mod that requires Melody Mod isn't playing music, or if you see crashes, try reinstalling Melody Mod. Make sure you're using a version compatible with your Minecraft version and other installed mods.
