Use Quick Mode for Fast Hotbar Building

Setting Up Quick Mode

Press R to cycle to Quick Mode. This mode pulls blocks directly from your hotbar instead of using a saved palette. Arrange the blocks you want to use in your hotbar slots, and the trowel will randomly select from them.

Building on the Fly

Quick Mode is ideal when you're exploring or building spontaneously. Simply place blocks in your hotbar, switch to Quick Mode, and start building. No need to open menus or create palettes—just place and go.

Accessing the Quick Palette Menu

Hold ALT to open a quick palette menu while in Quick Mode. This lets you adjust block weights without stopping your build. You can temporarily increase how often a specific block appears, then adjust it back when you're done. This hybrid approach gives you the speed of Quick Mode with some of the control of Palette Mode, making it perfect for creative, iterative building sessions.
