Create and Manage Custom Block Palettes

Setting Up Your First Palette

Press G to open the palette menu. Create a new palette by selecting an empty slot—you can make up to 25 different palettes. Name your palette something memorable, like "Stone Bricks" or "Forest Mix."

Adding Blocks and Setting Weights

Once your palette is created, add blocks by clicking on empty slots. Each block you add can be assigned a weight (how often it appears relative to others). A block with weight 2 will appear twice as often as a block with weight 1. Adjust these values to control the randomness of your builds—higher weights mean that block shows up more frequently.

Using Your Palette

Switch to Palette Mode by pressing R until you see it selected. Your active palette will now be used when you place blocks. You can quickly swap between palettes in the menu without rebuilding them. This is perfect for creating themed structures—keep a "Desert" palette separate from your "Ocean" palette, and switch between them as needed.
