Getting Started with the Thuriasz Rune Quest

Triggering the Invasion Event

Craft a Thuriasz Rune and hold it in your hand or off-hand to begin a special quest. While holding the rune, find and defeat 20 Draugr enemies in the world. Once you've defeated enough Draugrs, an invasion spawns around you with three waves of enemies to survive.

After defeating the final wave, a treasure chest appears containing high-tier loot as your reward. This quest is a good way to obtain powerful gear early on. Be prepared for combat—the waves scale in difficulty, especially if you've already visited the Nether. Consider using the Better Combat mod for improved combat mechanics during this challenging event.
