Measure the Distance Between Two Points

Basic Measurement

The tape measure lets you quickly find the distance between any two blocks in your world.

1. Hold the tape measure in your hand

2. Right-click on the first block you want to measure from

3. Right-click on the second block

4. The dimensions will appear on your screen showing the distance between the two points

Reading Your Results

The display shows length, width, and height values. These represent the differences in coordinates between your two selected blocks. You can take multiple measurements—each new measurement will be added to the display without removing previous ones, letting you compare several distances at once.

Clearing Measurements

When you're done measuring and want to remove all displayed measurements from your screen, hold Shift and right-click on any block or the ground. This will clear the entire measurement display so you can start fresh.
